Employee Load in Fusion HCM Cloud:
We can load employee information into fusion HCM cloud using below any approach.
1) HDL
2) File Based Loader
3) Spread Sheet Loader
Steps to download dat template for HDL:
1) Login to Fusion Cloud Applications
2) Navigate -> Data Exchange
Click on Initiate Data Load under HCM Data Loader to download sample dat file format for employee.
Enter Below details
Name= Global HR - Core Setup
Business Object = Worker
Click on Search Button. Click on icon under file to download the worker.dat file.
Prepare data in the dat file.You can use HCM Data Loader: Business Object Documentation (Doc ID 2020600.1) as a start point for preparation of DAT files.
Once the DAT file preparation is complete we can load data to interface and base table
Load DAT file to Tables:
1) Navigate -> Data Exchange
2) Click on Import and Load Data task under HCM Data Loader
Click on Import Local File as shown below.
Select the File which you prepared to Load. Zip the file before you upload file to Fusion Cloud
Browse the file and enter the account as shown below.
Click on Submit button.
Enter below details and click on submit button.
Roles:
We need to add role Human Capital Management Integration Specialist Job Role to your user if you need to access Data Exchange Task to your user.
